SFX has confirmed a new series of international beach festivals called Corona SunSets. The news broke at this year's International Music Summit in Ibiza. Jake Kirsch, Global Marketing Director at Corona says: “The beach is part of our DNA. Over the past 80 years, we’ve developed a deep emotional connection with the beach in the hearts and minds of people around the world. This summer Corona continues our journey to celebrate the world’s beaches in every way. First, we’ll invite you to step into the sunshine with #CoronaSunSets Festivals, a new music experience on the horizon.” Corona will also invite rising DJs from around the world to co-create and shape the soundtrack that defines the future Sound of the Beach. We use Mother Nature’s own magnificent fireball as a natural backdrop for the pivotal moment of the event – the sunset. As shadows grow longer and the sun lights up the evening sky, the music gradually shifts from deep melodic, easy tunes to a more up-tempo beat.
