
Isle of Wight Festival organiser John Giddins has responded with a 'never say never' answer to a potential offer to but the iconic event by AEG, who already have controlling shares in a dozen festivals including Coachella and RockNess, and a joint venture with Kilimanjaro, organisers of the multi territory Sonisphere metal fest, Wakestock and Bloodstock. The UK's Telegraph newspaper put the bid at £12 million.
