Blur out of Big Day Out

Blur have pulled out of Australia's Big Day Out bash in January, saying that the event's organisers were "shifting goalposts" and making "challenging conditions". The band were set to co-headline the festival, which takes place over six Australian cities between 17th January and the 2nd Feb 2014, with Pearl Jam and Arcade Fire, but said on Facebook: "We've done our very best to work with the organisers and considered every option to make it happen, but they've let us down and let everyone else down too".
