Skiibii sacks manager over death rumours

Nigerian pop star Skiibii has sacked his manager after reports of his death circulated - with his manager now apologising over what some have suggested was a misguided PR stunt. In an interview with Nigerian radio station Cool FM Skiibii said that he had suffered a blackout, saying that he had experienced this on several previous occasions. But he was not dead! His manager Soso Soberekon released a statement via his Instagram page offering an "unreserved apology to everyone". He said: "With my wealth of experience in the entertainment business, I would like to state that events leading to the above misinformation through my channel was due to a breakdown in communication."
